We are small family-owned biological-dynamic ecofarm specialized in viticulture, fruit-growing and goat breeding. Demand of our friends for our wines, fruits and goat´s milk (that we were preparing for our selves) expanded and that is why we decided to enlarge the area of our vineyards, orchards and of course, flocks of goats, little bit more to have something extra. We put focus in enviromentally friendly working with our plants and animals, according to nature and landscape. We are builders of ŠÍPEK, NNO, that is functioning regionally like nature-preserving and landscape-carring organisation. Our land is situated among others in locality NATURA 2000 and that is why we subordinate all working processes to needs of local ecosystem. We suppose that present agriculture needs principal regeneration from convention, that in terrible way devastate nature, to enviromentally friendly proccesses for whole biosphere, that is rounding us.

Organic farm established by three young people. At the moment we maintain 500 ha mostly in protected area. We keep beef, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, few rabbits and donkey Matylda. WWOOFers can help by taking care of animals, building fences, shelters, working in orchards and vineyards - there is simply something for everybody. All good people are warmly welcomed.

My farm is located in the hilly region about 50 km north of Brno. I grow organic vegetable (1 hectare), especially Hokaido squash, parsnip and carrots in combination with grass, which is used for mulching and later goes to compost. I do not keep any animals, because I do not want to exploit them not even for manure production. I try to find a loving attitude to wild animals (called otherwise pest) and plants (called weeds). Because I teach English, I welcome especially English speaking WWOOFers that can join discussions with my students. My main source of income comes from teaching. There are many interesting English books in the house. On the farm I need help with weeding, composting, mulching, natural leach making, harvesting etc. I also implement some permaculture and so called “cooperation with nature” principals.
