Biostatek is small and developing farm treating 6 ha of fruit orchards, flock of 45sheep, mobile bee house and permaculture vegetable garden. Groving fruit is typical for this region beneath Doupov Mountains. Valec town itself gives reason to visit the area: baroque chateau (I pasture sheep in its gardens), Matyáš Braun´s sculptures, winehouse, smoky and spitty pub, postoffice and shop offering basic things in the village.

The farm is all organic and quite simple, there is machinery available (tractor, earth drill, honda vari system...), but I do not use it that often, it is mostly simplier to do the things by hands.

Guys from local borstal help us with building ecological camp base suitable for accomodating whoever WWOOFers included. The base contains: outdoor kitchen, solar bathroom, separating compost toilet...

We have been lived in a czech variety of mongolian yurt taking place right next to the animals meadows, me and my girlfriend, since few months ago.
