You can find us in a small house with adjacent plots and orchards in the village of Lopeník, in an area of scattered settlement in the central part of the White Carpahians. We farm about 2ha of pasture and 1ha of orchard. Last autumn we planted a new orchard (additional 3ha) and we are planning on establishing a new meadow (1ha) this spring. We grow vegetables and herbs for our own use and for family friends and we also keep several sheep (for milk), a goat, chickens, and rabbits. As we would like to manage our plots using traditional ways of farming, with respect to the surrounding landscape and the environment, we would especially welcome someone who is interested in nature- and environment-friendly ways of farming and living in general.
